Community Guidelines

The core values at the Boardroom are to support women leaders for their lifetime, drive women forward into positions of power, and to help women make connections. These Community Guidelines ensure that the connections and conversations developed through our services, or any other engagements with the Boardroom, remain productive, professional, and uplifting.

Be Kind

We do not allow any discriminatory or offensive comments, harassment or threats of violence that target individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disability, disease, employment status, or, for any other reason. We have a zero tolerance policy for bullying other members or the Boardroom team.

Keep It Professional

When sharing information with other members or users, we ask that you keep the conversation professional. We are a community focused on providing resources and support to each other.

Be Honest

Do not provide information that is deceptive, misleading or untrue about yourself, your qualifications, experiences or accolades. Do not impersonate others or misrepresent a business in a way that is not truthful.

Chatham House Rule

Be conscious of others’ privacy. Do not use, disclose or distribute any information obtained through the services for any purposes outside of your membership or engagement with the Boardroom without authorization.

No Solicitation

While we view engagements with the Boardroom as an opportunity to connect with and learn from other women, you should not use this platform as an opportunity to solicit members or users for employment, donations, new business opportunities or selling goods or products. We recognize that these opportunities may organically come from the relationships built at the Boardroom, but uninvited solicitation violates our policies.

Do Not Break the Law

When using the services or engaging with the Boardroom in any way, you must comply with all applicable laws, including without limitation, intellectual property and privacy laws. You may not conduct fraudulent activity.

Report Problems

If you notice any posts, messages, or comments, or witness any conversations or actions that you feel do not align with these Community Guidelines, please report your concerns to hello@the-boardroom.ch.
